This page allows you to type Musa text in several different ways, and to display it using any Musa font (the light blue boxes at right above). For input, you can use the Musa keyboard at left above, or the Musa Keyboards agent, or by pasting Musa text that you copied from another source. The transcribers all have an Edit button that brings their output here into the Editor so you can perfect it. You can also type Musa on your system hardware keyboard in either of two different ways:
In Overlay mode, your keys correspond to the keyboard at left (click the image to expand it). So for example the three open squares are the R F V keys under the 4. The keyboard above has little digits in the top row to help orient you.
In Transliteration mode, you type Roman letters, and it will interpret them as Musa letters according to some easy-to-remember conventions (click here to see them). Write stressed vowels with a capital letter, as shown.
This page only handles plain text, no markup. For that, you'll have to use the Composer. One last trick: to raise or lower a vowel, double click to its left.
